HARVEY MILK DAY CELEBRATION

Scion Cider Bar is located in the Central 9th neighborhood along 900 South / Harvey Milk Boulevard in Salt Lake City, Utah.


We are an inclusive & safe space, dedicated allies for all of our LGBTQ+ friends, family & self-identifying members of our queer Scioneer community. 


Scion Cider is committed to supporting the work of Equality Utah, Project Rainbow, and the Harvey Milk Boulevard Visibility Project. 


Every year on May 22, we celebrate the birthday of Harvey Milk and his life’s work in diversity, equity and inclusion. 



MAY 22, 2025 - 5PM to 9PM at SCION CIDER BAR

This year’s program is proudly supported by the Salt Lake City ACE Grant Fund, the Central 9th Community Council, EqualityUtah.org, the Harvey Milk Boulevard Visibility Project, Project Rainbow and Beehive Charcuterie.

  • Featured PRIDE cider & cocktails
  • Beehive Charcuterie happy hour table free for all attendees
  • Fundraiser opportunity drawings for amazing prizes! Magnum eBikes, local gift cards, City pride flags & more. 
  • Vendor information tables & invited artists
  • 6PM – 9PM Entertainment by DJ Coletti
  • 6:30PM – Harvey Milk remembrance by Equality Utah & celebratory toast in his honor
  • 10PM – 1AM – Afterparty at MILK+ and Try-Angles
